Interviewed for my thoughts on the best self-tanning towelettes, I picked Comodynes as my favorite. Comodynes towelettes are easy and convenient to apply, provide good color with minimal odor and are easy on the budget at about $12.99 for 8 sheets. 

At the time of the interview, I hadn't had a chance to try the Kate Somerville Somer 360 Tanning Towelettes.  The results are equally as good as Comodynes and the towelette is larger, but the Somer 360 Tanning Towelettes are more expensive.

Comodynes Self Tanning Towelettes

Comodynes Self Tanning Towelettes offer all of the benefits of a sunless tanner; great bronze color, no worries about damaging UVA/UVB rays and best of all, no mess.  Of all of the sunless tanning products I've tried, Comodynes Self Tanning Towelettes may be my favorite.

The process is simple.  I did a thorough exfoliation in the shower and then applied a light body lotion.  I then put on some surgical gloves (this was my own step--the instructions say to just use your hands) and applied the product.  I made sure to use a systematic method to insure complete coverage, as the product is clear.  I waited 10-15 minutes before dressing.  The color takes about 3 hours to completely develop and is so very natural looking.  It looks great!  Best of all?  No funky self tanner smell and no streaking.  You use one towelette every 3 to 4 days.  I would repurchase the Comodynes Self Tanning Towelettes for the convenience alone. They're perfect to tuck in a cosmetic bag for travel.
