Of course Bare Escentuals is known for their mineral makeup, but one of my favorite products is the new Refillable Buffing Brush.  This where-have-you-been-all-my-life brush can be filled with your favorite mineral makeup/complexion product.  Toss it in your purse or your makeup bag for travel and you're good to go.  You just swivel the brush up to apply; you can also control the amount of product dispensed.  I can't recommend the Refillable Buffing Brush enough.  It retails at $29.50.

Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash Mascara

Bare Escentuals new Buxom Lash Mascara promises mega lash volume in a vitamin-rich formula that also darkens and thickens. A mascara that increases lash volume up to 300%...is that possible?  Bare Escentuals owns the mineral makeup category and now they're taking on mascara.

When I first removed Buxom Lash Mascara from the box, I was struck by the size of the brush.  It looked seriously, crazy- big and I wondered how I would ever be able to coat the smaller, inner lashes of my eyes.  Turns out Bare Escentuals addressed that concern in the unique design of the the hourglass-shaped brush. 

You really are able to coat every lash with the Buxom Lash brush and not once did I smudge the mascara or experience a clump--even with 2 coats of mascara and all-day wear.  Another nice benefit to this mascara is that it's free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic dyes and fragrance.  That means it's easy on the eyes and safe for contact lens wearers.  

Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash Mascara is available exclusively at Sephora and retails at $18.  I would definitely repurchase Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash Mascara.  I think you get all of the benefits of some of the higher-priced mascaras on the market, in a more moderate price range.
