The Laura Mercier Fall 2008 Collection, Cherries Noir, evokes Hollywood glamour of the '40's era as it's inspiration. New eyeshadow textures are introduced: Lustre Eye Colours that are iridescent with a frost finish in a way that only Laura Mercier could do; Matte Eye Colour that provides density of colour in a smooth finish and Sateen Eye Colour, which has a cream-to-powder finish. Eyes are the focal point in shades of cashmere, cocoa and wine. My favorite shade is the Kir Royal; an instant classic.
