L'Oreal Vive Pro Haircare

L'Oreal Vive Pro Haircare is a new multi-product line that I've been using for the past couple of weeks with great results.  I was sent samples of the Vive Pro Color Shampoo & Conditioner, as well as the Vive Pro Nutri Gloss Shampoo & Conditioner, compliments of L'Oreal and the Total Beauty team.  First, time for a confession.  I do not use drugstore hair products. Ever. I have always used salon products.  Not that there's anything wrong with drugstore hair products.  They're fine.  Just not for me.  So I was a little hesitant to try these products, because (in the interest of full disclosure) my usual brand of shampoo and conditioner is Kerastase Chroma Reflect.  I've tried many brands and this is always "the standard" to which I compare.

So let me tell you about L'Oreal Vive Pro Color Vive Shampoo and Conditioning Treatment. One word? Amazing.  Let me put it this way.  After the first time I used these products, I was so sure that my great hair was a fluke, I decided to keep using them until I had a disaster.  Then I could go "aha!".  Two weeks later--my hair has never looked or felt better. Sadly, my Kerastase Chroma Reflect has been demoted to storage under the sink.  Both the shampoo and conditioner have dual UV filters to protect your color from environmental damage and free radicals.  My hair is soft and smooth without being weighed down. I also like the fragrance, which smells very similar to the Kerastase. Yes, I really do notice a difference from using these products.  And when I repurchase them, I can use the extra money I'll save, to buy makeup.  Can't argue with that logic.
